As I start gearing up for the next build, I'd like to do this correctly and get my documentation down from the beginning.

I have plans for a 650 scale classical guitar based on the Daniel Friedrich designs.

Size seems a bit nebulous at the moment. the plans say his guitars varied from x to y so I need to settle down on that shortly.

B/S are a fairly straight forward Padauk. Was really stunning when I first got it, but as I have learned, it tones down a bit over time. Has not browned, but the intense red/yellows have mellowed.

Top is WRC. Decent looking set with a nice complex taptone. Not as glassy as the redwood top on my build #1 but I am happy with it.

Neck: Not bought yet but am thinking cedar. looking.
Fretboard: Not bought yet. Thinking something to pick up the red tones of the Padauk... so maybe cocobolo or madrose?

Thank you Bob. At the very least, the reference gives lots of info on his builds and photos that will be helpful. I have already managed to resolve some questions i had! His website is fairly detailed and does provide some additional things to think about as i proceed. This is going to be fun..!
